Anesthesia is available if required. In addition, prophylactic treatment is available for syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, hepatitis b and a number of other conditions. Early prophylaxis is advisable. Vaccination for hepatitis b an Gardasil9 vaccination is available. NHS does not normally provide prophylaxis for STD, STI.
